3 weeks of fun!

I have been taking a weekly picture of Avery in her little bouncy seat since she has come home from the hospital. I wanted to watch her grow and change each week and be able to share that with everyone. It is amazing how much she changes in just days. I took her to the Dr. for her 2 week appt. and she weighed 9lbs 9.8oz and was 22 inches long. She eats VERY well and still has a sweet little personality. She sleeps pretty good at night (around 3 to 4 hours) and after eating falls back asleep. She has gotten to where she loves being held while she sleeps during the day...so sometimes Kyndall will tell me to put her "night, night" in her cradle:) She still loves her a lot..but sometimes she thinks she should go rest, so Mommy can play with her! I have posted the pictures of Avery growing and changing each week.

Funny Faces

And...another hat!

Avery in deep thought....

There isn't a whole lot going on around here...just playing with Kyndall and taking care of Avery. Avery is still a great baby, and Kyndall still loves her lots! Here are some funny pictures I took of the girls just playing and being themselves. Kyndall NEVER wanted to put hats on her head until Avery came along. Since I keep a little hat on her head most of the time to keep her warm, Kyndall has decided that hats are REALLY fun to wear...so that is why there are so many pics of Kyndall in hats:)

My sweet girls

It has been a lot of fun bringing Avery home. I was afraid that Kyndall would have a hard time adjusting to Avery, but it is just the opposite. She gets very excited to see her and runs straight over to her and says, "hi, hi" and then kisses her. I do have to watch her around Avery because she is a rough hugger sometimes, but she means well. It has become a new bribing method to have Avery. If Kyndall doesn't want to come inside from a walk, or get out of the bath tub we just say, "If you come in (get out) you can see baby sister Avery" and she will immediately get a huge smile and do what we ask. Pretty fun times! Here are some pictures of Kyndall and Avery quality time I captured on camera.

Sisters

We are so excited to have little Avery Ellen join our family! She came at 7:49 am on Feb 5th. She weighed a whopping 9lbs. 4oz and was 20 1/2 in. long. Avery and I had to stay at the hospital until Friday, but got to come home in the early afternoon. Kyndall was excited to have her sister home and immediately went up to her and kissed her and said,"hi". I have some pretty good photos coming soon...so keep checking back. Thanks to everyone who prayed for us, called us, and emailed us. We feel very blessed to have little Avery now...and I know Kyndall will really enjoy her new sister!

Baby Avery is coming tomorrow.....

I am about to go to bed tonight and pray for a healthy baby and a very successful surgery. We will be taking pictures and posting them on this blog soon. Jim has promised to bring his laptop so I can let everyone know all about our sweet little girl.
